The Baptiste Orthodontics & Dentistry for Kids staff is always looking forward to the Fall season because it means so many opportunities. This time around we were lucky enough not only have a few fun activities sponsored by our office but also see an increase in patients coming back with their new smiles as well!
The friendly staff at our dental office was proud to be active participants in the Windermere 5K Run. Our clinical assistants got up early for this event and visited several schools around Apopka, including Trinity Christian School and Children's Learning Center where they taught young ones about oral health just before Halloween!
The wonderful staff at Baptiste Dental Care enjoyed hosting Trunk or Treat events this month! We were so excited to see that our booth was visited by over 2,500 kids from the local community who came in search of a special goodie bag with treats and their own toothbrush. It made all those hours spent working together worthwhile when you could hear parents' reactions as they opened up each package - especially since many had been given just moments before on Halloween night during Kit Land Nelson Park's Annual City Apopka Event.
The entire staff is busy this month as they participate in annual OCPS Teach-Ins from November 16-17. Our team will visit several schools, including Dream Lake Elementary and Apopka Middle School where we'll teach the students about dental health with a focus on teeth brushing techniques specific for their age groups; it's so fun! Each child also gets one of our coveted toothbrushes delivered straight to them along wth some other goodies.
We are here to provide the best dental care to our patients as well as contribute resources and time to the community we serve. Which is a perfect segway to celebrate Thanksgiving. We are supporting the Orange County Sheriff’s Office's annual Thanksgiving food giveaway this Thanksgiving. We made a financial contribution to help purchase food for their food drive and will be helping assemble the food boxes with other local volunteers to distribute to families in need.
Dr. Baptiste has always made it a priority of his and the company he formed to give back to the community it serves in whatever way possible. We are grateful for our patients, their families, and their community. We wish you a blessed Thanksgiving. May you spend it with family and friends and enjoy good food.
